12. It was very striking.

You could see peoples faces brightening as they realized they were going to get a chance to talk with the Obamas. It might have been my favorite part of the campaign yet. I'm glad I saw it. I live in California so it's unlikely we're going to be a stop on the tour, lol.

13. I didn't think McCain looked well last night and I wondered

if health reasons determined an eaerly departure. I kept waiting for one of the pundits to mention that as a possibility but nobody did.

Another possibility is that McCain knew he had not done well and stormed off in a huff. He is famous for his poor disposition.
