Guys, John McCain isn't senile, crazy, or overwhelmed by PTSD...
...he's simply buckling under the enormous strain he's under right now: he knows he's about to go down in GOP history as The Worst Presidential Candidate We Even Ran, and they didn't like him so much to begin with. It's also a time of existential crisis within the party itself--'My God," they're all thinking, "if a War Hero can lose to a Black guy named Barack Obama, what does that tell us about the state of the Republican party right now?"

So he's feeling the pressure, and is plenty nervous and pent up and distraught. He's also very tired. His mind is wandering. And today, his brain is refusing to match up with what his lips are saying, and vice versa.

I don't pity him, don't get me wrong--he's completely demonstrating why he doesn't deserve to be within 5 miles of the White House.

2. Can't be fun to have a nervous breakdown in public.
Pitiful. Mean, nasty, deserved. But pitiful.

4. He is buckling BECAUSE he is senile, crazy and has PTSD
...and because he and his running mate suck. Hard.

6. It's HARD WORK trying to outrun that bus.
The one his own party is trying to throw him under.

7. I think this gaffe might shake lose some folks on his staff to talk to the media anonymously...

I wouldn't be surprised if we start hearing concerns from Deep Throat sources describing other incidents like this.

There was something strange about him zipping out right after the debate last night.

8. No, he's not any of those things.
He's just old and slowing down. Lots of people have trouble admitting to the ravages of age. Look at all the people who refuse to give up driving even though their reflexes are shot. Some people of McCain's age are still hale and hearty as ever, but most are not. They just don't want to admit it. McCain is an old man who lacks the stamina to be president. At the rate the presidency ages people I have no doubt the stress would kill him, literally.
