Why does McTaint keep saying that Obama will MANDATE health insurance?
And FINE you if you dont get it? Was that not the BIGGEST difference between Obama and Clinton and Edwards in the primaries? The fact that he WOULD NOT impose a mandate? John McCain just keeps repeating this as recently as 2 minutes ago.

3. I think he still hates Mittens Romney.
That's the only thing I can figure out. Health Care Mandates are a centrist alternative to single payer.

4. He probably knows some voters will remember hearing the word
"mandate" but won't remember who had it in their plan, so they'll believe him. If I hadn't been paying such close attention to the primaries myself, I'm not sure I'D remember who said what!

6. That word hurt Clinton in the primaries.
I guess McCain is thinking, "What's good for the goose..." He hasn't been concerned with truthfulness (or even truthiness) for some time now.

8. Right now I don't think people will mind being mandated coverage
to be honest...as long as they can afford it.

9. Because it plays well. He has that same doctrine as bush... stay on the message, even when wrong.
Never retreat, no matter what kind of an idiot you make of yourself.
