Rednecks for Obama!?
http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20081009/pl_afp/usvoteobamarednecks

In backing the first African-American nominee of a major party for the US presidency, the pair are on a grassroots mission to bridge a cultural gap in the United States and help usher their preferred candidate into the White House."

How adorable are these guys?

2. I love 'em!
I sure hope it quells some of the knee-jerk anti-southern, anti-rural inclinations of some our alleged 'liberal' cohorts hereabouts.

5. Exactly.
I've found it interesting the lack of tolerance exhibited by my own party. These rural people can be won over if we do it right.

7. Your avatar is fitting
RFK saw the plight of Appalachians first-hand, and it was a large motivator for getting involved in the 1968 presidential run.

He and Obama are fitting role models of what it means to reach out to EVERYONE in America. We can't afford not to.
