The Dow is below 9000 and the McCain campaign wants to change the subject. It won't work.

NOT THIS TIME!!! It's unbelievable that they continue on their attempt to scare people about OBAMA when they HAVE to see the polls-people are not in the mood for McCain's attempt to "turn the page" on the economy in favor of negative attacks on the next POTUS!

1. Agreed ... attack politics at this point only makes BombBomb look irrelevant
What job are you auditioning for again, Cadaverick?
Oh yeah -- President of the United States. That means
not just "Commander-in-Chief" of the armed forces; it
means steward of our ECONOMY, which is cratering right
before our eyes. If you think talking about Bill Ayers
and what that says about Barack Obama's character will
inspire CONFIDENCE in your ability to steer us through
this calamity, you are SORELY MISTAKEN.

2. Yup. Especially when their attacks are so hypocritical saying OBAMA needs
to answer some questions while Palin has yet to do even ONE hard interview (Sunday morning show) and asking if people know who OBAMA is when Palin has been around about one month and is under investigations, etc.

3. It's all about FUD
Edited on Thu Oct-09-08 02:54 PM by Cronus Protagonist
Fear
Uncertainty
Doubt

FUD sells wars. FUD sells cleaning products. FUD sells toothpaste, mouthwash and feminine hygiene products. FUD sold Bush's second term. FUD sold us the war in Iraq. FUD sold us deregulation. FUD was used to try to sell us a market invested social security program, but it didn't work because FUD also sold us the idea of leaving it the hell alone (why change it when it ain't broke?) FUD can be used on both sides of an issue, which results in a stale mate of sorts, when evenly balanced, and when it's not evenly balanced, well crafted FUD can be used to balance other FUD.

FUD sold us an 800 Billion dollar "bailout plan".

Up till now, FUD sold the GOP but it ain't working any more because Obama is selling stability, assuredness, a steady hand at the tiller, responsible government, all of which cancel out FUD.

So McCain continues to try to create MORE FUD by attacking Obama's character, his race, his background, his associations and so on, USING FUD, which isn't selling well because Obama cancels out all the FUD they throw at him - people see and hear Obama and they can't believe the GOP FUD machine, which is now severely lacking in credibility.

The McCain campaign wants to change the public political conversation back to the war because FUD sells war like germs sell bleach and FUD sells the warmongering GOP like free shit sells to flies.

There are two problems. One is that the money people want to get as much money as possible before re-regulation comes in, permanently. So they themselves are victims of FUD now, and they're whining to the people they bought earlier so they can get their cut in before their fears are realized. An Obama presidency.

The second problem is Palin. We create FUD over Palin, and rightly so. That FUD sells our side's POV while Obama sells integrity and a solution to the Palin and the GOP FUD, in which we are almost drowning.

Basically, Obama is a rock and the GOP is the captain of the Titanic clinging onto a plank of timber from the Titanic just after it sank - each is selling an antidote to FUD - which one do you want to reach out and grab?

There you have it, in a nutshell. :P

13. Yup-and the further the Dow falls, the further McCain's chances fall...
which is the only GOOD thing coming out of this. Obama will be able to HELP the economy instead of ruining it more.

12. Hate radio keeps telling them to push Ayers and I hope they listen.
If anyone in the McCain camp is reading this please PLEASE keep trotting your little show pony out to spew the "paling around with terrorist" lines. We just might pick up WV and GA if you do it enough!

14. So do the freepers...
and it shows just how LITTLE the McCain campaign cares about the American people. They have no solutions. They're not even TRYING to give solutions.
