With my company's match I haven't lost what I contributed ... yet. But it's getting close.

5. My husband retired in Jan 07 - I've been out of work for years
We're living off of our investments....what is left of them, but the thing about investments is it will grow again. Keep contributing....that's the main thing. Don't panic. :hug:

10. Yeah, I haven't changed anything....
... because even just reallocating over to less risky investments -- should everyone do that all at once -- is going to make things go even lower.

I'm only 28, it has time to rebound. It just sucks. Us women have to be even more careful than men to save up an adequate amount for retirement.

6. our 401k is in stable value fund.
we haven't lost anything on that. however, we do own 1 stock and we lost over $30,000 in the last 2 weeks. hopefully, i will come back.
