17. Republican no matter what, just like most of Johnson County.
Plus my Dad is a lifer in the defense industry.

Beyond that, I have no idea. They hate fundies, they're not stupid and they're not rich.

sure sounds stupid to me. They may be quite intelligent. That does not mean they are not being stupid. Or possibly racist

My dad, last I spoke with him, was in the same boat. Most would rank him a very intelligent man. Engineer. Language Scholar. Etc. But he was going to vote for McCain because he has "character". Pretty sure its not racism, given that his other(loved) son is black. Not rich, believe you me. He is religious, but thats not the problem, given how much he loved the Clinton. I suppose he could just be mis-programmed, as he always has been somewhat robotic, but I am more inclined to believe that he proves out stupid.
