Did Obama's jiu-jitsu cause McCain's swiftboat attacks to boomerang?

Between Obama's suggestion that McCain "Say it to my face." and Biden's admonition that McCain look Obama in the eye when he makes his Ayers smears, Obama's got McCain painted into a corner.

He's called him out.

And we're watching what McCain does in the next debate.

If he brings up the Ayers smears, or any of the other insinuations that Obama's unpatriotic, Obama gets to respond with the truth, and McCain is made to look like an ass for making these bogus accusations.

If he doesn't bring them up and continues to slink in the corner, he's seen as a coward, and he WILL be called out as a coward by various Obama surrogates.

Either way, McCain's about to get that boomerang he threw upside his head.

Obama will confront him with McCain's earlier statement about running an honorable campaign and then Obama can call him on it. I hope he calls McCain dishonorable. It will stick a knife into the heart of who McCain believes he is.

8. If it was swiftboating, the attacks would have millions of dollars of broadcast ads and many more

millions of broadcast AIRTIME and news channel programming used to discuss and push the lies every day for 3 months. THAT is swiftboating.

The media isn't as willing to debase itself for McCain's erratic campaign the way they did 24/7 for Bush from 2000-2006.
