I would think our major objective would be to rough McCain up in the final debate. If we can win that one like we did the last one, even if there are no real knockout punches (and I don't know why anyone would expect there to be), we can consolidate a rapidly-hardening base of support.

I don't want to just beat them--I want them to cry on air. Fuck Fox News.

We keep talking about the economy, health care, and helping ordinary Americans out of the pit that the Republicans have tossed them into. Keep the message positive, and only address McCain in terms of his bad policy.

1. Just as he has done, Obama needs to maintain his poise and confidence and command of the facts

and stay on topic and focussed. It late in the match and Obama is well ahead on rounds, so he doesn't need to take any big chances and go for a knockout. Let McCain be the one to get desperate and wild and if he walks into a punch, then down he goes. These last 3 weeks will be hard for McCain because I think he is being campaigned into the ground. This should become more and more obvious.

2. Obama has managed every situation... Keep working is the key.

I think he'll manage this one.
Whatever McCain will do in the next debate I don't think it will matter.
People are hardening fast against these rabid attacks that range from Obama being a pedophile lover to a gargantuan egomaniac and communist.
The most important thing is that everyone keep working as hard as possible, if not harder.
Get out the vote.
