RCP average: Obama's lead, approval rating biggest ever
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/us/general_election_mccain_vs_obama-225.html

At the time of writing this, Obama's approval rating (49.9%) and lead over McCain (7.6%) are both the largest they've been since RCP started tracking poll averages for the two candidates at the beginning of September 2007. As Droopy would say: Y'know whut? I'm hap-py.
