Poll question: Who believes the Ayres/ACORN shit will work?
Faux news is going insane on this ACORN/Ayres shit, and it's pretty much 24/7. Does anyone think this stuff will actually work? Talk me down a little bit.

1. Sure it will work. The Annenberg Challenge will get some good press
and ACORN membership will skyrocket.

2. Any attacks at his point look like desperation. There is nothing they can do
unless Obama blows it which doesn't look likely.

4. It will work in our favor. McCain refuses to address the Economy and everyone can see it

5. It Will Work
on those who already support McCain, but it won't move independent voters, not with this economy.

6. It will strengthen their base.
Fortunately, their base is too small to win them the election and swing voters don't seem very impressed by it.

7. Hillary already tried this 6 months ago!
they're not saying anything new.....they're just rehashing stuff that Hillary already tried. He won that primary and he will win this election too!

Yes, there are some right wing nuts that do believe it but in order to win, McCain will have to attract some independents too. I just don't believe independents will buy into this crap!

And btw, I was watching Shuster earlier today and he was interviewing another right wing nut job who brought up the Ayers crap and at first he said that Obama won't tell them the story of his association with Ayers. Then Shuster mentioned a statement that Obama made where he did explain it but the guy still kept going on and on about it. Ultimately Shuster made the point that Obama had explained that, they just didn't believe him.

To me, it made the right wing nut look like the crazy one! First he said that Obama will not talk about it but when he did, they won't believe him......so there's not much point in trying to explain it anymore because they won't believe that either.
