1. Where did you get these?
And if you tell me you walked a canvass with Barack Obama, I'm totally kicking your ass!

6. lol! I fucking wish! I wouldn't be on DU tonight, that's for sure!

I check out his flickr channel about once a week. You find out about what's going on around the country with what Hollywood stars and musicians are stomping for him. Rosie Perez and George Lopez were stomping for Obama in FL and MI today. Betcha didn't know that!

2. Damn this man is so
normal, so cool he makes my teeth hurt. I love him.

Everyday I feel more and more that with Obama we're going to see the greatest President ever, despite the up hill climb due to bushco's 8 year fiasco.

5. Damn, those are great!
Did you take them?

I wish he'd take a walk in my neighborhood!

*sigh*

But California just isn't a battleground state...

He was having the time of his life, wasn't he?

:hi:

7. I love this. I love it. Look at those people's faces. They are
amazed and delighted that someone of Obama's stature is visiting IN PERSON to talk about their concerns.

God bless him.

8. Let's hear it for the Secret Service. This guy gives me cold chills sometimes.
He is so accessible, sometimes I think he's too accessible. But he's got one helluva SS detail, and I applaud their energy and committment to keeping him safe. GoBama!

11. I feel a little Bobby Kennedy when I look at those pictures
And great idea by the Obama campaign to have Barack out canvassing like that. It really plays up the vitality and vibrancy of Obama.

It's hard to imagine McCain having the energy to pull something like this off.

15. This is how Obama won south Illinois
which is just like a southern state...I used to go camping on a piece of property my sister had down there. It was just like West Virginia where my Mom grew up...

20. Dammit, Barack! Why do you have to be so cool?!?
Edited on Mon Oct-13-08 02:07 AM by Adenoid_Hynkel
I was getting used to being a jaded cynic in my early 30s who had no faith in just about everyone in public life. Now I have to adapt and get a handle on these foreign ideas of optimism and of possibly having heroes. It's going to be hard for me.

22. What better way to introduce yourself to the people
...than to walk up to their doors and knock.

Let's help make this election a mandate. Obama needs to win by a landslide.

28. Yes we can!
Hundreds of thousands of volunteers, including a certain Barack Obama, are going to wake this country up from its slumber and rescue the ideal of democracy, and we're doing it door by door, handshake by handshake, person by person.

Greatest post ever!
