how will Bush exploit 9/11 anniversaries next week ?
i expect he will probably get some support out of that and it may help him hold his lead for a while longer.

we all saw how grossly they exploited it at their convention.
but you can be they will do it again. and in fact they had their convention when they did so it would be close together.

2. Rumor has it he will be in AR watching a football game
the local Greens are trying to confirm this as they are organizing an anti-Bush protest. I will be surprised if Shrub lets the anniversary go by by attending a football game in the heartland. My bets is that he will be in DC or FL or someplace more symbolic.

6. True. However
I'd think after blabbing "911" for a week, he'd be doing something more symbolic than watching a football game in the Ozarks. To my mind, that would leave him open to alligations that -gasp- he doesn't really care about 911 and the 911 families and that he's using 911 purely for political purposes. Sure, we know this, but some of the dense 'undecideds' might begin to question him as well if he does this.

4. Well, regardless I hope WERE PREPARED TO CALL HIM ON IT!

I want the Kerry campaign writing statements NOW for Bush's exploitation of a colossal failure on HIS part. Should have been done before the convention if you ask me.

We could have exposed this tastless exploitation/convention for what it was, but once again ... we slept right through it.

Norm Coleman won because Wellstone mourners were called every dirty name in the book for supposedly "exploiting his death" but ... do we return the fire when Bush props death and carnage at his convention? Course not. :eyes:
