AP's narrative: Joe the Plumber redeemed John the Dumber.

Even though McCain lost the last debate decisively and has done nothing positive since, the economy is still in shambles and Colin Powell has endorsed Obama, McCain is gaining fast as people making less than $50,000 are finally remembering to vote against their wallets and for those of the top 1%.

Does anyone actually believe this narrative? Does the AP really think scuh a narrative will be enough to stop rioting when the voting machines steal the election? Or this just to keep up the pretense of suspense to sell more newspapers?
