Man, Republicans are IDIOTS
They don't understand how to answer the fucking "what does the Vice PResident do?" question.

It's really pretty simple...

HEre's the simple answer Sarah Palin should have given to Drew Griffin...

"Well Drew, constitutionally all the Vice President does is perform the ceremonial role of "President of the Senate", cast the tie breaking vote in the Senate should a tie vote occur, and be prepared to take over should circumstances dictate. Beyond that, though, the Vice PResident's role within the executive branch is entirely up to the president. John McCain and I have discussed my future role in his administration and I can tell you, I will play a significant advisory role as well as taking a hands on approach to energy."

My question here is, don't these idiots THINK about what questions are going to be asked?

1. In my experience I find a lot of them have a narrower view of life or are mostly under informed of
...issues

2. The VP's other main job is to attend state funerals.

3. That's at the discretion of the president
It's been customary, especially when the president himself cannot attend. but ALL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES of the Vice President beyond the tie breaking vote, the ceremonial President of the Senate Role, and waiting around for an emergency are completely at the discretion of the president.

4. Maybe they are aware of it and are doing it on purpose
I'm series. They know the role of VP, but are trying to convince the public that VP has more power than he/she does, so that the public won't cry foul if he/she takes more power than the VP has. Their contempt for the voters is obvious. Look at the lies McLiar puts in his ads. He figures the average voter won't check up on it. Even if the elitist libruls complain :sarcasm: he still figures that won't get enough coverage for him to get called on it.
