Why get so worked up about Morning Joe, and not Faux & Friends?
Every morning I see a bunch of posts here expressing outrage over whatever stupid meme Scarborough is pushing.

Why??? Does anyone think this guy was once a liberal Democrat who suddenly turned traitor?

This guy was a Rethug congressman before he became a Rethug shill.

I guess he is more tolerable to watch than the nauseating Repukes on Faux: he occasionally breaks with his masters, and he has guests with opposing views and he actually allows them to speak. But he's ALWAYS carried Rethug water. (And of course there's the matter of whatever he did with his secretary, but who knows.)

But no one should be surprised to see him pushing Rethug talking points. Anything different on that show is the exception, not the rule.

4. I think the difference is that Joe's talking points are intellectually dishonest,
whereas the Faux neocons are just plain friggin' stupid.

5. Speaking for myself, up until Palin came on the scene Morning Joe came off as relatively balanced
Mika played a pretty good foil to Joe and actually usually presented a moderate to Democratic counterpoint to Joe. The guests were pretty even handed and coverage seemed to be given to both parties on an equal basis.

After Palin became the VP pick something happened and the show took a sharp turn directly to the ditch on the right side of the road. Joe gave up any pretense of presenting both sides, Mika dropped on her knees in a bizarre supplications to all things Palin and the coverage and guests became increasingly drawn from McCain/Palin.

I still turn on the show while getting ready for work but it's now just general background noise vs. something I sit down to actually watch.

6. Maybe it's because we like MSNBC's nighttime lineup with Keith & Rachel
We think it should be the same in the morning.
