Shuster and GOP Shill Cheryl Jacobus Fighting! LOL!!
Jacobus: Sarah deserves every cent of $150,000 and America doesn't care. Remember she just gave birth in April and has no wardrobe. She is not wealthy like Obama who took advantage of his celebrity and wrote two books to make millions. The Palins are not writing books to take advantage that she is VP nominee

Shuster: So, you only need to go to Neimann Marcus to look nice in America? Independents are not going to like this.

Jacobus: This is only a media creation against the Republican party.

Shuster: Oh, poor GOP, the media is bad to them (sarcasm) What about when the GOP was attacking Edwards for his $400 haircut?

Jacobus: I don't think people are angry about this.

Shuster: I think the donors of the RNC are mad about this and nobody in the Republican party has had the audacity or wanted to be here on TV to defend this like you have.

Commercial brake while the Democratic surrogate was smiling ear to ear.

6. She wore clothes. I've seen them.
Usually, she looked very well dressed when I saw her on TV press conferences and such. Of course, we are a little more casual up here than other places, but still she seemed presentable as governor.

3. If Sarah is so down to earth, why not shop at Penneys or Walmart
for her campaign attire? Neiman-Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue is . . . sorry to say Republicans . . . ELITIST.

5. "She is not wealthy like Obama..." - hmm
Just before the weekend, the McCain campaign released running mate Sarah Palin's first personal financial disclosure report as well as her tax returns for the past two years. The investment picture we get from her FEC-mandated financial disclosure filing is vague, since values and income are only reported as ranges, but it is clear that the Palin family is worth at least $1 million.

The vice presidential candidate and her husband, Todd, appear to direct most of their income into tax-advantaged retirement accounts such as an IRA, state pension plans and Todd's 401k with the oil company BP. The couple's largest non-retirement holdings are their family home, worth at least $500,000, and Todd's fishing business and fishing leasehold, with a combined worth between $150,000 and $350,000...

Let's start with the big picture: net worth. According to Obama's most recent public financial statements, he and his wife, Michelle, were worth between $500,000 and $2 million at the end of 2005 (excluding whatever equity they have in their $1.65 million Chicago house). The bulk of this wealth came from $1.2 million in royalties Obama received that year for The Audacity of Hope and a previously published book (part of a $1.9 million, three-book deal). The $1.2 million figure is presumably pretax, which means that, after paying the IRS, Obama probably kept about $600,000...
