Interesting poll questions, of course we progressives want to immediately answer "NO".

But there are ways to answer to any of these without hating on the gay community:

Yes: "Counselling" aka indoctrination or brainwashing, can be effective, but that doesn't make it right or good.

No: These "tendencies are innate and natural and there is nothing wrong with them, no "counseling" is needed.

Not sure: I'm no expert, I'm not even homosexual, so to be honest, I am not sure.

Don't care: Really, who cares? Live and let fucking live, wouldya?!

It's a weird mess of a poll, questions-wise, each choice is a little loaded, I don't see any valid use for the results.

I have been working on the race for the San Diego City Council seat that Hartline ran for (and got his ass handed to him in the primary). I interacted with him on many occasions, and found him to be deeply disturbed, rude, hostile, and hypocritical on many levels. Note that he has never claimed to be heterosexual (which is fine with me since he is HIV positive).

While I believe that sexual orientation is probably malleable, counseling alone is likely only to cause someone to repress those feelings--especially the type of "counseling" offered by anti-gay organizations, who look for magical quick fixes to the wrong problem.
