Obama is doing so very well in the polls and...
Edited on Thu Oct-23-08 05:17 PM by themartyred
even if he were to drop - I am amazed that he could still win even if he lost ---

NV, OH, VA, FL, NC, IN, MO. --- and that would mean all these current polls would have to reverse and take him out of the lead. Very good for us. It'd be 277 to 261.

He'd win just by getting CO and NM - simple as that. I am so looking forward to watching the GOP get handily defeated.

As many have said to the people who said listen to Obama, don't count your chickens before they're hatched - it's hard to contain the excitement that I felt also in '92. We're going to see major change. My family, my friends, and all the people I've met who have voted or will vote for Obama desperately need it!

1. I feel even more excited than in '92 ... because we NEED Obama more now
than we needed Bill then. I don't think I felt the same
momentum then that we have now as well ... I'm not resting
on our collective laurels but I remember feeling uncertain
about our chances in the Clinton-Bush race right up until
the last minute, whereas at this point I'm feeling we may
get a REAL MANDATE (something Bill never got).

2. good point
when we elected Bill, we didn't get much of a mandate. I felt he had it won, but if that were the exact "time" put in today's Voting System - I'd feel we'd probably lose it to election theft. Today however, I feel like you, there is so much more excitement behind Obama, that we're going to get a mininum 6 seats in the Senate as the pundits are saying, and up to 8, and another, what, couple dozen congressional seats? AWESOME. Time to SPRING CLEAN the B*sh corruption and laws he's pushed through. I would also do an incredible SWEEP of the White House before moving in...
