Research 2000 for Daily Kos. 10/28-30. Likely voters. MoE 4% (No trend lines)

McCain (R) 48
Obama (D) 47

Early voters (17 percent of sample)

McCain (R) 42
Obama (D) 54

I can't believe we may actually win Arizona. And I have a bonus treat for you guys:

If the 2010 election for U.S. Senate were held today for whom would you vote for if the choices were between Janet Napolitano the Democrat and John McCain the Republican?

McCain (R) 45
Napolitano (D) 53

***UPDATE**** McCain will campaign in Arizona on Monday.

1. I want to see him within 5 in AZ
If that happens, it will be a landslide everywhere.

If we wins AZ (which I just can't imagine but dare to dream), it will be a Reaganesque landslide everywhere.

8. Yes, you're probably right.
I was thinking of what one of her focuses has been as Gov, but of course how could I forget that she used to be our AG.

11. Her time as Gov is almost up, I think.
But I know what you mean. She's been amazingly good as governor and kept the Reps under control.

12. CNN just changed Az to pink.
The buzz is that Obama is going to stop in Az - but
nothing has been set.

Sitting on pins and needles.

15. A win in AZ would likely mean a Electoral College vote
of over 400, not likely, but we can dream and shoot for the wipe out. As for McCain running in 2010, not going to happen.
