on 11/3/04 I saw an election stolen in front of my eyes and ears and thought
I was going nuts till I found DU, Keith Olbermann, the EDVs, and my buddy Steph
.... words can not say what I was feeling but I saw the light and the light said
get up and fight and so I did.

Today I went and got a haircut and and got my suit from the cleaners to
do election protection for Team Obama in Columbus, OH tomorrow
please know that I will take my orders from Obama but I will carry
DU in my heart. Skinner and company thank you.

4. DU Has Been MY Lifeline....

since around Feb 2001 when I found a link for it from another site. Got me through the horror of 2000 (I was very active in the Party in Miami..I can't even describe what that was like); 9-11...heard about the plane crashes in the car on the way to work...ran into my office, called my parents and logged onto DU; all the elections, all the events, all the trashing of Man Coulter (so much fun!), all the LOLCats...what more could any of us asked for. DU is like having a good friend who understands, puts up with your rants about injustice and makes you laugh.
