I am a late comer to this board. I just wanted to say thanks.

I really appreciate the vast amount of information that this board provides. It is like a giant clearing house. Its thousands of members bring information to a central location that I would have never been able to gather by myself. I will be checking in daily, because Obama will require our continued support to recover from the mess the Bush administration has left our nation in. I have always been a Independent, but I registered as a Democrat and will continue to support the Democratic Party until they plow me under. Thanks again. I only wish I had got here sooner. Today, I am in a transportation pool to assist old farts like myself if they need a ride to the polls.

5. I agree. I found this board when Pat Buchanan wrote his screed on AAs place

in America. Someone had posted the entire message here and the link was in an article I was reading.

I've checked back here weekly, sometimes hourly, through the primaries and now the general. It has been good to see the difference Democrats have in ideology.

I hope this will become a clearinghouse of information when it comes to what an Obama administration is fighting for and against in Congress and in the world.

10. I'm new here too....

I live in a red zone outside of Cleveland and I deal with Republicans all day. I've heard their crap all day every day. I was starting to think I was the crazy one. Like i live in Bizzarro world where everything is the opposite. My views on equality, economy and use of the military were always wrong (how I am wrong 100% of the time I'll never know). I put Democratic Message Boards in google one day and DU popped up. WOW... Thanks everyone for making me feel normal.
