You know what wonderful woman I've been thinking about today?
Ruth Bader Ginsberg.

She has hung on forever, even though she wanted to retire. Thank you, Ruth, for refusing to let GWB name your successor.

Your time to relax is coming very soon.

Thank you, Ruth.

3. As far as I'm concerned, she's a real patriot...
Can you imagine how screwn (more screwn) we'd be if she retired this year?

Thank you Ruth Bader Ginsberg.

5. Absolutely
I hope they both have a wonderful, relaxing, long, peaceful retirement.

They did the entire country a big favor at a huge sacrifice.

9. I wonder how they feel today?
I bet they are both anxious and excited. It must've been horrible for them in 2004 to realize they'd have to try to carry on another 4 years.

I hope they get to pass the mantle proudly.

10. Absolutely right. Staying at your post protecting your country from its enemies.
... is about as patriotic as it gets.

11. I bet they're writing their resignations as we speak
With a huge majority in the house & senate, the Supe will be liberal for decades.

Icing on the cake.
Thank you GWB for screwing up your party.
