The wait wasn't even 5 minutes. The young woman ahead of me (#76) used to babysit my son and is now in law school. My and dh were #77 and #78. I am in upstate NY in a suburb outside of Syracuse.
We saw the lines in Georgia, N. Carolina and Ohio on tv live and were appalled. It looks to us like voter suppression. We often complain about our high property and state income taxes but we consider what it would be like if our counties and state could not afford to supply enough voting machines for their citizenry.
