It was not worth it, and we have to continue picking through all these crimes and calling them to account.

10. It WASN'T worth it, but, it made it possible for a black man to run for president and win

which is something NONE of us older Dems ever expected in our lifetime.

My daughter's teacher is a young black woman whose husband works for Obama in NC, and she told me yesterday that SHE never thought a black man would be president in America though she is at least 20 years younger than me. Bush made it SO BAD by 2006 that it changed EVERYTHING.
