Lifelong CO Republican votes Obama: "I don't like Sarah Palin very much"

ROONEY RANCH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN LAKEWOOD -- Lifelong Republican Rachel Taylor smiled, thought of her son and voted for Democrat Barrack Obama this morning.

"I'm a Republican and I was going to vote for McCain, but frankly, I don't like Sarah Palin very much," Taylor, 46, a certified pharmacy technician, said after she left the polling booth.

The other reason was her son, who is 25 and "really into politics."

"He showed me some numbers on the tax issue," said Taylor, who doesn't like to pay taxes much. "I realized I'd be better off voting for Obama."

Colorado was a solidly wingnut state only a few short years ago. If enough registered individual Colorado Repubs vote for Obama, the GOP stealing shit elsewhere won't help.
