Mankato Minnesota field office...VOLUNTEERS standing in line
waiting for open phone lines...the place is PACKED. I spent four hours making calls this morning, after voting at 7:00 am. Our little precinct normally has poll workers outnumbering voters at any given time by about 2:1 - not today! There were cars packed in the parking lot when we got there, and 30+ people in line by the time we left! :woohoo:
I finally gave up my seat at the office so another volunteer could participate in the GOTV effort - what a great problem to have! The sign-up sheets for volunteers were spread over all four walls of the office, and people were coming in droves...
A little local coffee shop kept coming in with free fair-trade coffee to keep us all alert; we all brought in food and so all the volunteers will be well-nourished for a long day...
It was awesome! I'm so stoked!
It's gonna be a great day, DUers...

3. I sure hope so! It's a really tight race between Al and Normie the Abnormal...
I'm praying that Al squeaks it out, and that Tinklenberg defeats that loonytune Michele Bachmann.
