7. A mutt doesn't have to be a dog.
It is just a mixed breed.

8. A mutt is a word typically reserved for dogs that aren't purebred.
Most of the dogs you find in animal shelters are mutts

11. Not a purebred also called a "mongrel"
Mutt is a more positive term than mongrel.

Oh, I'm so glad I don't have to take care when the television is on to make sure I avoid a Presidential press conference.

14. Yes he did - and it was perfect
Self-deprecating humor is a quality that few people can pull off properly. Obama just did it and did it well.

16. I thought that was hilarious!
Whenever anyone asks my ethnicity (I'm biracial as well) I always say "mutt" and get the weirdest reactions.

I loved it, I think I laughed harder than anyone actually at the press conference.

24. Another way we say it is a Heinz 57, it means different types of backgrounds
which most Americans are a mix of different races, cultures, etc. So we call ourselves mutts, at least in my area of the nation we do. :kick:

26. Yeah, he did. He is so much like JFK.
Inspiring when need be. He has a wry sense of humor when that is appropriate. He doesn't take himself seriously but can be serious if that is what the situation calls for. He has a grasp of the language and an intelligence we haven't seen in 8 years. He's awesome.
