The New York Times is making me very angry - very angry indeed!
First off, I realize they are being swamped with requests for Wednesday's paper. That said, I am hoping that I will be able to get my hands on 2 copies at all.

After not finding any in person on Wednesday, I called Wednesday evening and held for about 40 minutes before getting through to place an order. I thought everything was good.

Then today I get a call telling me they are sold out and will not be able to place my order and that I should visit their online store to order them. I did so, having to refresh the page about 50 times before I got an order form. The price has now more than doubled - I was to pay just $5.75 apiece for the phone order, but now they're $14.95 apiece.

When I FINALLY was able to put in my information and got to the "Place Order" screen, I have clicked at least 50 times on "Place Order," to no effect. I called the store's # to make sure I wouldn't be ordering 100 copies and was told they had to take my name and phone # and CALL ME BACK in the next 48-72 hours because the online order won't go through.

Again, I know they're swamped - but can they try to keep their story straight, at least?

3. I don't want just the picture - I want the whole shebang
I couldn't even find that day's issue of the Dallas Morning Nausea.

On a happier note, I did get my paws on the new Time and Newsweek and another commemorative issue. WOOHOO! :woohoo:

11. Get me a copy while you're at it!
They could just print 100 million copies and sell them on the internet!

12. The Detroit Free Press and The Detroit News both
reissued Wednesday's edition later in the afternoon. I bought 2 of each. I don't doubt that the New York TImes will be the hardest to get.
