Huffingtonpost: BUSH LETS IT ALL OUT

"I Was Unprepared For War"... "I'm Sorry" About The Economic Crisis... Some Voters Backed Obama 'Because Of Me'

www.huffingtonpost.com (its the headline)

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/12/01/bush-says-some-voters-backed-obama-%E2%80%98because-of-me%E2%80%99/

WASHINGTON — President George W. Bush expressed remorse that the global financial crisis has cost jobs and harmed retirement accounts and said he'll back more government intervention if needed to ease the recession.

"I'm sorry it's happening, of course," Bush said in a wide-ranging interview with ABC's "World News," which was airing Monday. "Obviously I don't like the idea of people losing jobs, or being worried about their 401(k)s. On the other hand, the American people got to know that we will safeguard the system. I mean, we're in. And if we need to be in more, we will."

He's trying to blame Clinton. No surprise here. THe comment section is to die for. This my favorite comment:

Everyone in America should flush their toilets 5 minutes before Obama takes the oath of office, as a symbolic act towards GWB.

4. Too Little, too late.
Bush can whine and make excuses as the day is long, but it doesn't erase the near-eternal mess he left this country. His pathetic display only shows that he takes no emotional responsibility for what had happened. This is only a publicity stunt to make his "legacy" look better.

I only certainly hope that historians will have the sense to not be kind to this fool in the future.

6. Unfortunately it take more than one mistaken fool to make a movement
He wasn't even one of the masterminds, he was just one pieces that was used to carry it out. No sympathy here just an observation that it took MANY to carry out what happened

7. Dubya is showing "remorse" to avoid prosecution. Simple as that. The fucking SOB!
He's giving Obama a chance to say "We need to think of President Bush as a man who made some mistakes that he now regrets. So, let's forge ahead and forget the past."

FUCK THAT SHIT!!
