Tinfoil hat time: What if Blagojevich was positioning himself to make a deal?
Edited on Thu Dec-11-08 12:07 AM by redstate_democrat
This dumbass had to know he was on tape. Moreover, his own fundraiser had been turned and was participating in these conversations. I think this dumbass was talking so freely, trying to implicate various people, because he already had to know he was on his way down. I guess he thought if he could establish a bargaining chip, that if he was gonna go down, he would have something to offer the Feds, with the wiretaps to back it up.

How else can you explain the bizarre, outrageous, and reckless conversations he was having over the phone, when he had to know he was being wiretapped? On Monday, he kind of laughed off the wiretaps as a joke, like he figured he had some cards to play.

He may have already knew he was about to get taken down and felt like he wanted to draw in some people so he would no longer be the big fish and so he could have some bargaining room. Remember the letter Rezko sent the judge, claiming that Fed prosecutors were trying to pressure him to say the wrong things about Blagojevich and Obama??? See it here http://www.politico.com/static/PPM103_rezko_sbh444.html

Hmmmm. You don't think Blagojevich knew about all this???

:tinfoil:

Oh, and another gem from this lowlife bastard, from a link on MichelleObamaWatch.com, not only did he call Obama a "motherf**ker, he was badmouthing Michelle in the transcript about his wife being more qualified than Michelle to sit on corporate boards. In his and her fucking dreams.

2. The conversations he was having is like something out of a movie.
I am just surprised that he was this fucking STUPID. If Bush, arguably the dimmest politician in office, could escape criminal liability , with all of the illegal balls he had in the air, how did Blagojevich get caught up on his own friggin mouth?

Dumb. Ass.

7. I feel a stint in rehab coming on, followed by the obligatory "it was the booze/pills/whatever"
He'll have a shrink testify that it was a chemical imbalance affecting him, and that such condition is genetic for him, and must be controlled by medication.

He certainly appears to be guilty of stupidity and arrogance.

My guess is he will make a deal to roll on someone, probably several individuals, and end up doing a year or two.
