Edited on Thu Dec-11-08 09:05 AM by Me.
BO is not being investigated by the FBI, Coleman is, yet they keep asking for transparency from Obama.

7. We've Had 24/7 Obama
And the issue of his transparency. Have there been stories to that extent on Coleman who is actually under investigation? Funny but somehow I missed any reporting on Hardball, KO, Rachel, CNN, the Today Show or many other outlets that people normally watch. Sure didn't see it on the national news. They may have mentioned it but where is the focus on the story and calls for Coleman to hold a presser? And while he doesn't come close to Obama in stature or importance the senate race is still up in the air, it certainly is a lot more important than any crime Obama and his team didn't even think about committing. So while there has been some coverage it's nowhere near what the situation warrants. I'd be willing to bet that outside of Minn. most people don't have a clue about this.

13. There is "meh" coverage and then there is
COVERAGE

A story doesn't break into the consciousness of the non-"news geeks" unless it's the lead into each commercial break and the topper for each story segment...

14. Coleman is higher profile than Blagojevich so...
The coverage of Coleman should exceed that of Blagojevich. Particularly since Obama is not the person being investigated.

Coleman is being investigated and Blagojevich is being investigated. So that is the proper comparison.

The high school hallway gossip and speculation quality of the media coverage might make it seem like Obama is the center of this controversy. However, he is not.

15. Quite True
As I believe I said. Never-the-less, the disparity is striking for two reasons, the media keeps airing Con knocks against Obama, who is not quilty of anything, without referencing the Coleman investigation and...as I also stated, there is a still unresolved senate race going on. Now it strikes me that the potential of sending a possibly indicted senator back to the senate is a big enough story in and of itself. Yet, as I work with the news on in the background, I haven't heard it once. We've had 8 years of one way mud slinging and it's time to put a stop to it, where the Cons point fingers at everyone but themselves. Corruption? You 'betcha', Stevens, now possibly Coleman and the Illinois gov. but not oBama.

18. Gotta love the old MSM. By the way, if McLame were prez-elect
we would have a soon to be prez that was already under investigation in the past with Keating Five. Kind of ironic.
