I'm for Caroline Kennedy as the next Senator from NY for no other reason but
to drive that press-hungry Chuck Schumer crazy. I know he had to be looking forward to being the most high profile Senator from New York---after all, he is the SENIOR Senator. The idea of putting a Kennedy in that seat again has to be eating his heart out. He'll be taking a back seat once again.

I love it. A little bit of Karma for the man responsible for giving us AG Mukasey.

1. I place a lot of the blame on Feinstein, myself
But yeah, Schumer hasn't been doing the party any favors lately.

4. Hopefully, never to return...
D'amato, that is. Wish Schumer would go away.

5. This is way overblown
There's always some tension between Congressional leaders and a president of the same party, particularly when the Congressional leadership was there first and has to adjust to having a White House dictate some of the policy. But as far as I know Obama has a good relationship with Pelosi...reports of tension are overblown, IMO.
