may have too much baggage to carry and withdraw. I can see Holder and Clinton being victims of the GOP slowdown. So much for cooperation.

I think Obama may have to use recess appointment power to fill many slots. It will be rough going for the new administration and I hope there is a backup team ready.

Moreover, he will be the CIC in a time of war. The Cheney has shown the nation that combination is the key to doing whatever a CIC damn well pleases.

It looks to me like all Obama's picks are a lot smarter than the Republican Senators who may object to them, plus we got the votes and they don't.
