Why do people like Warren have to constantly tell the rest of us how to live.
If he is so damn certain of God's word and beliefs, than great go tell it on the fucking mountain.
Shout it from the top of the mountains as loud as you want, just please leave the rest of us the
fuck alone. If I end up going to hell and burning for all of eternity, I promise I will not blame
it on you, Mr. Warren. Why do so many so called Christians fill the need to beat everybody down,
make them confess they are evil sinners, and then try and bring them into their tight little circle.


You know some people just want to live their lives the way they want and maybe
live with, or marry, who they want to without having to have your ass tell them how wrong
they are. So please Mr. Warren, leave people alone. I mean at the end of the day what
does it matter to Warren and his flock of Christians whether gay and lesbian people marry. People
like Warren just have to let everyone know that they are certain of how God wants the rest of us to

We claim people have the right to pray and practice their chosen religion as they wish. But a big part of their religion is reaching out to and saving others. So if we tell them they can't do that, then we aren't really advocating freedom of religion.

I find it annoying too. I have several acquaintances who are evangelic and speak to me sometimes about their religion - I don't want to hear it, but I listen politely to a point and then explain to them that I appreciate their devotion but it's just not for me. And they get that and that's the end of that topic. It's really not that difficult to deal with and it makes for better relationships all around if we're all a bit more tolerant. You can not erase intolerance with more intolerance.

Proves that they are failures. Churches are supposed to be able to convince people to follow whatever gospel they are preaching through the power of their own persuasion. When churches have to go to the government to impose their moral strictures on other people it's an admission that they aren't up to the job.

Two: Most Christians are afraid for your soul. They are taught that it is their duty, given to them by god, to save you from hell fire. They are afraid of life and death and lean heavily on religion. But somehow they don't have enough faith to truly believe what they claim to believe. Unless they can get everyone else to go along with them they feel challenged, threatened and insecure. Because what if the non-believers are right?
