5. Welcome to the fishbowl...
...it comes with the territory, unfortunately. I think it's safe to assume that, on the basis of what we've seen of the Obama family, that Barack and Michelle have done their best to prepare their daughters for this life. I still can't put myself in the shoes of a kid riding in a Secret Service motorcade to school, though...

2. Poor girls will have an entourage every where they go.
I guess it is for the best, though.

3. The Huffington Post is feeding into the media climate of paparazzi-ing the president's family
It's one thing to do that for President Obama, or even Michelle, but not his two daughters.

8. I agree with the sentiment of your post, but it is worth noting that
the "Obama transition team" released the last two "private moment" photographs.

The family knows the country is interested and happy about their arrival. Yes, I hope the cadre of freelance paparazzi will leave them be (as the MSM will do so if they want ANY White House access), but these photos were made available and it's sweet they wanted to share the moment with us!

4. This really needs to stop
I know its early, hopefully in a few months the media will retract their claws of these kids.

7. That photo of Sasha
peering out of SUV window just broke my heart. They played it on an endless video loop on the Today Show.

9. I don't like this.
It's understandable that the media would like to make money using these beautiful little girls, but it's wrong. They have enough adjusting to do without dealing with hoards of media. Sasha's face in the second photo really gets to me.

10. It's temporary I'm sure. As I recall Amy Carter and Chelsea went through
the same thing for a day or so. After that there's little to no interest. It appears to me these girls are having a blast and have been told what to expect. Like their parents, these children are flexible along with being confident. It's all good folks..
