2. She's got a solid resume, and plenty of preparatory experience.
I'll bet she does a good job. She's had plenty of examples as to how NOT to run that outfit, after all. Sometimes that's the best possible prep for doing outstanding work.

I'm guessing Commerce Secretary will be an equally thankless job...given the anticipated business climate in the near future.
