So, New Yorkers, what are Pete King's chances in 2010 now that
there's so much ugly surrounding the handling of this Senate seat appointment?

2. Dem Royalists/Chicago Gang Losers; People Victorious; Peter King Thwarted.

The Chicago Gang can appoint Kennedy to an Ambassadorship-the usual plum for early royal supporters.

Will King have a primary challenge? Who will win the Dem primary? Depends on the voting of Gillibrand. Waaaaay too early to tell.

7. Pete's a gaspasser who mouths "9/11" as frequently as Rudy
A machine pol from the other machine, and LI to boot (can you say "endemic nepotism" ? I knew you could) who's concluded that terra is his ticket to staying in office.

It is unbelievable to me that people are scared of these morons. From Doober on down they have been mindless POSs (at least in their political lives) who operate on the basis of that old standby, the fear-greed duality - "scare the public, and if someone opposes you with rational thought, try to undermine them with dirty tricks, since we have no content in our platform" is the GOP line. If we can't overcome this, we're pathetic.
