Superstar, Superstar....who and where in the World do you think you Are????
Edited on Sun Feb-15-09 04:55 PM by FrenchieCat
Initially, they thought they'd get by with a "Movie Star" Reagan type Candidate....

But the guy they had in mind was a hard sell!

They flirted with the Happy-go-lucky compassion Religious zealot,
but the guy just wasn't dynamic enough!

http://www4.pictures.gi.zimbio.com/Mike+Huckabee+Calls+Presidential+Candidates+6Oq7Sz-ss7Hl.jpg

Then they banked that John "get off my lawn" McCain might just be "The One",
he was after all a "War Hero"......

But that didn't quite pan out either, and he got his ass kicked!!

Half way through the election, The GOP felt strongly that they had figured it all out,
and that A woman for the sake of being a woman might just do the trick!

It didn't! :(

So what's a party to do?

Where's their Obama, they wondered?

Nope, not this one, they figured! :boring:

And then BINGO!.......
Could this be him, they thought???? The Obama-like Politician???? :bounce:
The brown guy without the oration skills and the missing 5 inches???

And let us not forget these awesome folks; the great last best GOP Hopes......

At their wits ends, they go back into time in search of inspiration.....

But at the end of the Day, there is only one who could do what Obama can do....

Too bad the guy is dead!

Meanwhile......They should just get prepared for their ass whooping.

5. Well Gregg saw what the others went through on the vetting process
and realized that he was about to be roasted for something.

7. or something else that he was afraid of, but no I don't think he changed his mind
on the politics of the issue.

The funniest comment on the whole Gregg affair is that he wanted to go back to the Senate because of his concerns on how the Census was going to be handled.

I don't think that there is an intelligent person in this country that believes that a Senator from NH is going to have more input and a better chance to impact on how the census is going to be handled than the Secretary of Commerece.

2. Cute and funny post. Although this part is a little disconcerting: "there is only one

...who could do what Obama can do."

Wouldn't that mean we're screwed in 2016?

I'd like to think the Democratic Party has another couple of aces in our pocket who will carry on all that Obama is able to accomplish.
