David Shuster's show will highlight "progressive blogosphere" in daily segments
David Shuster's "1600 Pennsylvania Avenue" is looking to the Web. The anchor is now active on Twitter, and yesterday he revealed he would spend a segment on the program each night looking at what's being talked about on the "net."

But not just anywhere on the Web. "Every day at this time, we're going to bring you a key issue in the progressive blogosphere," said Shuster.

Last night's guest was Josh Marshall of TalkingPointsMemo.com, who talked about Sen. John McCain's stimulus plan credibility.

According to Shuster's Twitter feed, tonight's segment features Firedoglake.com founder Jane Hamsher.

5. Smart man!
Unlike many in the media who gasped in horror when President Obama called on Stein from the Huffington Post, fluffed their peacock feathers and huffed 'How DARE he', Shuster recognizes the blogosphere is now mainstream for many Americans.

Well done, Mr. Shuster.

(Please don't, however call upon Politico, they are a false flag)

8. LOL, what's funny is they've all been doing this for some time now
They're just finally going to fess up to it openly.

For quite some time now I watch MSNBC for a recap of what I've read on DU that day.

11. this should boost shuster's ratings.
smart media will realize and embrace the HUGE progressive market hungry for shows that fairly present our views. not to mention our demographic tends toward higher educations and incomes for the advertisers.
