Attorneys representing Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels asked a Marion County judge today to dismiss a lawsuit brought by two men seeking to invalidate Indiana's presidential election results ... The Indiana attorney general's lawyers argue the suit should be tossed because the governor already has carried out his responsibility and the electors have cast their votes already, so the issue is moot. But it probably means the rightwing has decided that filing BS lawsuits, guaranteed to get booted, is a great way to keep the crazy wingnut base worked up. And yes, the case apparently is just as demented as the reporting suggests:

11. I think they're arguing it's unconstitutional for the ballot to list Obama and McCain,

since people are actually voting for electors. The reasoning seems to be that they aren't sure where Obama and McCain were born. So they're suing the governor. :crazy:
