Obama approval up to 67% in latest Gallup Tracking Poll
Edited on Fri Feb-27-09 01:46 PM by jenmito
Funny-I thought after the MSM started ripping Obama's plan for the huge amount of spending, his numbers would fall instead of go even higher. Too bad, MSM:

12. Not surprising at all, when you consider
He's been making the GOP shoot itself in the foot repeatedly, and forcing it to play to "Crazy-ass Base Land". Moderates are deserting the GOP in droves - they hear all this talk of "retribution" against Specter, Snowe & Collins, and now realize there's NO ROOM for moderates in the GOP tent.

2. All these changes are pretty much statistical variation.
Obama's approval ratings are consistently in the high 60s.

And the same ~30% who supported Bush are still the same stupid shitforbrains fucks they always were.

9. The so called spending is just on things we have neglected for 8 years
and the majority of American public gets that.

11. My local Fox affiliate
has been very supportive, in a non-partisan way, about the bill. They interviewed a random citizen who complained about the bill and spending but when they cut back to the reporter, she was like, "But keep in mind that for every x amount of money spent, x number of new jobs will be created." It was pretty cool to see. I love my local Fox station...complete 180 from the Fox News channel, but I do live in Philadelphia so no one would watch it if it was conservative.

He's been talking to and reaching out for and holly crap it worked!

There was a percentage of sane ones left... I really had started to wonder.

is doing what is right for the country. At the very least, it is better for the US than what the Old Geezer and the Beauty Queen would have planned for us, and they know it.

19. "Old Geezer and the Beauty Queen"...
...at first I thought of Ronald Reagan and George W Bush, respectively.

WHAT is wrong with me?!?
