Garbage..

If you listen to Meet the Press, Stephanopulus, etc, what you come away with is this hyperventilating commentary.

My guess is the main street America, the middle grounders are as sick of it as we are.

You cannot go around like the little boy who yelled wolf, and keep peoples attention.

I bet TV's will be clicking off by the millions.

6. Acrually it has gotten worse..
Whether they are supporting our side or the other.. it is like a 'twitter' analysis, that ends up being completely contradictory from minute to minute

8. Oh, you're listening for logic. They only toss out pre-approved sound bites.
That's what big money pays them to do.

17. me too, I never missed a program
I think part of it is I can get my daily fix of politics on the web which is faster and less painful. Plus, for 8 years they lied to us and covered up for Bush. And for 8 years before that, all the talked about was how bad Clinton is.

I wonder if the country does stay dem for awhile, if we'll get a couple of KO or rachel type shows on Sunday morning.

14. They don't seem to get it.. we had 8 years of hyperventilating by the Bush people
and the American people made a choice for some calm analysis.. GOP caterwauling does not appeal to most of Americans..

18. David Gregory Is Awful
he talks way too fast and only when a democrat is the guest does he play an aggressive, finger pointing (literally shaking his finger) game of "gotcha".

He was down right rude to Ms. Romer today, while letting the Whip Boy go on and on and on as if the past 8 years never happened.

22. I was just watching MTP repeat on MSNBC
and thinking the same exact thing. Gregory was rushing his questions and was like a dog with a bone on the "fundamentals of the economy" remark by McCain during the GE versus Obama's remarks. Wouldn't let it go. It was like he wanted to say "Gotcha!" but Ms. Romer wouldn't give it to him. Don't know if I can stomach the round table coming up.

20. Nobody is listening to it. Sometimes we give people too little credit sometimes too much.

The people are gaining a general impression and couldn't care about the details.

The impression they are getting now? Obama is the only cat doing anything coherent. Everyone else is just BS.

21. About the only people that watch those shows are
hyper-partisans anyway. It really doesn't matter unless someone makes perceived news with a quote or something that goes mainstream. It's sort of like Rush's audience. Those folks in his shrinking audience buy into his bullshit, but he doesn't get any traction with the general public. It took a long time, but the moderates have finally seen through the faux outrage and fear mongering.
