11. First of all, you are wrong with your attitude about this. Yes, maybe was not the best

worded joke but he has explained after he realized there were those such as yourself who might take it wrong. It was a joke at himself and one of those that after said; you could see how some people would take it, especially those who look for anything to criticize President Obama on.

#1) He called the head of Special Olympics right away after he realized he might have goofed, even before the show aired for the public.

#2) The apology was accepted and they knew as most know, Obama would not intentionally say anything to hurt someone or make fun of someone.

#3) Get over it, it was said, Obama has admitted the wording was not right, has apologized.

What the hell else do you want from him?

I understand why Jillan feels the way she does. The words were a mistake and I'm glad he apologized for them. That is what is great about him-he takes responsibility for his actions. That being said I do not think he meant to be intentionally hurtful.
