Alex Castellanos (?) CNN - "Our first indication of a one termer here"
Edited on Tue Mar-24-09 10:08 PM by Phoebe Loosinhouse
Or words pretty close to that - due to the "testy" exchange with Ed Henry who asked, why did it take so long to voice your outrage and Obama responded "Because I like to know what I'm talking about."

Alex asshole elaborated with - "It's a fine line between confidence and arrogance"

These people are sick and twisted and are obviously pushing agendas of their own with NO regard for the country. They are devisive, pathetic, f**ks!

1. lol
and it wasn't just some reporter. It was CNN's Ed Henry, and Obama made him look like a jack ass. THAT'S why CNN is playing up that moment so much, they are trying to revive the moment for Ed Henry.

His question rivals Chuckie's for stupidity. The race for the bottom continues.

2. The guy who asked the question was Ed Henry from CNN...
they seemed a little perturbed at Obama's zinger of a response to him.

15. Perhaps Castellanos is trying to reestablish cred with fellow Republicans?
Before the election he was admitting that McCain and the GOP were done in 08. At that time he was actually one of the few Republican talking heads who were pretty realistic and candid.

22. Castellanos is real a**hole.

Take GOP consultant Alex Castellanos - the man best known for creating "Hands," an overtly race-baiting advertisement that Jesse Helms deployed to great effect in defeating his African-American opponent, Harvey Gantt.

Tonight, as a part of CNN's primary night panel, Castellanos took issue with Jeffery Toobin, who decried a recent newspaper column that referred to Clinton as a "white bitch." The thoroughly refined and scintillatingly relevant counterpoint that Castellanos interrupted Toobin to make - attached to an assertion that Toobin was "dead wrong" by the way - was that, "Some women, by the way, are named that, and it's accurate." Clinton was apparently one such woman, because she is "abrasive, aggressive irritating."

I find it amazing how all these so-called reporters are suddenly finding their voices. They sure kissed ass the last 8 years and kept silent in the lead up to the war. Same with these republican talking heads, all of a sudden they care about deficits and spending. What a bunch of phonies.

28. Alex Castellanos was the creator of an infamous race-baiting campaign ad for Jesse Helms...
The so-called "White Hands" ad from back in the 90s: the one in which a pair of white hands crumple a piece of paper while the narrator says that "they" gave the job you wanted to "a less-qualified minority". Helms used this ad in an attempt to whip up fear and racial animosity against a black Democratic challenger who had seemed to have a good shot at unseating Helms.

I am personally committed to reminding people of this whenever the name "Alex Castellanos" comes up in my hearing, because people should know who he really is, and what his bias is.
