Palin is the New Limbaugh
Multiple strategists tell Greg Sargent that the Democratic Party "plans to increasingly elevate" Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) in the same manner it has used talk show host Rush Limbaugh for the last few weeks, "using her high-visibility, her social conservatism, and memories of her harsh attacks on Obama during the campaign to tar the GOP as partisan, obstructionist, and backward-looking."

Said James Carville: "Her name conjures up all kinds of reactions in people's minds. She's an uncomfortable figure for a lot of Republicans. They want to move beyond her. We like her."

Said another: "Luckily, she seems to present us with an opportunity every few days. You could say it's a turkey shoot."

"I vow to the Homeland, I will be back to lead the Republicon Homelanders -- and then all of America -- to Epic FAIL the likes of which Sarah Palin can only pretend. Smirk."

5. The author wouldn't happen to be John Ziegler, would it?

He's a sychopant of the worst kind. He's only around as long has you have something to offer him.

9. Nope
It actually wasn't him. Tamron Hall said that he was a high school teacher. It didn't sound to me like English was his first language. Though to his credit, I could understand him better than I can Palin.

6. Poised? Due to what?
I love the Conservapedia argument that she was a force to be reckoned with in 2008. If she hadn't been on the ticket, McCain TOTALLY would have lost worse--he'd, um, have lost Missouri!

Thank God she was on the ticket, so that the Republicans only lost Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Iowa, New Mexico, Colorado, Nevada, Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina, Indiana, and Nebraska's Second District!

11. yep
Pat Buchanan was still using the "He was way ahead after he added Palin until he screwed up with the financial crisis!" on Hardball today. Please, Pat. It was a dead cat bounce post-convention. Her Charlie Gibson interview was right before the stock market crashed, and the cat was already way out of the bag by that time.

4. Every day Palin does something stupid

Today she nominated a Republican to replace a Democrat in the state legislature.

Needless to say, it went over like a lead balloon.

13. No, you're not
It looks like a cheap distraction from what we need to be focusing on. Begala is looking like a 7th grader at a middle school lunch table plotting against his 'enemies'.
