Another Cheney moment.. lets us all know where this is headed
Edited on Tue Apr-21-09 09:21 AM by Peacetrain
Now I am trying to dig in the old memory log here.. so bear with me.. but "poppy" Bush administration, Dick Cheney was Secretary of Defense.

The Gulf War happened, and Michael Speicher was shot down in Iraq. Dick Cheney was on TV within 24 hours saying he was gone, that was it MIA.. end of story.

Now if anyone is familiar with military, the last thing you do is leave one of your own in enemy territory if you can help it.

But you most definitely do NOT dismiss finding a pilot 24 hours after they are shot down.

Cheney and Bush Sr. did that, they left an American pilot to God knows what, because they wanted that war with no consequences.

Cheney is out now, ready to serve up Bush Jr.,(with which I find a kind of Karma that is fitting) because he is pushing a scenario and the republicans extremists are falling for it, of opening up more memos to try and make the case for torture.

Cheney is the gift that keeps on giving, and President Obama is the guy that gives them enough rope to trip themselves up...

Cheney's actions on shows like Hannity will almost guarantee surely congressional investigations

While you may ask what one has to do with another, it just shows a pattern of disconnection with the human spirit. The ability to leave a pilot, or to try and explain torture as necessary.

Michael Speicher, you may yet get justice. I never forgot.. We never forgot.
