1. Love that line about "gearing up for a fight" - lobbyists for banks; him for students & families!

2. He threw down the gauntlet against the Party of No and Evan Bayh groupies, didn't he?

4. He sure did. I doubt the RWers who call him "Obambi" really believe he's
a pushover. Just because he doesn't swagger when he walks and use empty, "tough guy" rhetoric when he speaks doesn't mean he ain't tough.

5. Pres. Obama 's approach to governing is the most effective I've ever seen from a Democrat..
Edited on Fri Apr-24-09 01:18 PM by ClarkUSA
Republicans are unable to demonize him. He slaps them down without breaking a sweat. He's unifying the party base
and independents like him better than any other Democrat in recent history. Under his popular leadership, I predict
Democrats are going to do something unprecedented in modern American political history in 2010: we're going to
increase our Congressional numbers while Republicans lose seats for the third election cycle in a row.

6. Too weird, covered on MSNBC and CNN, but FOX was covering "Bird Strikes" instead.
