I wasnt really super thrilled when Obama picked Biden for VP .. but
I was assured over the election cycle ...

and now I think it was a brilliant Move... In fact I cant think of anyone who would fit the bill better. What does it show?

Obama can think far down the road ... Bodes well for all of us.

1. My best impression of Biden was when he was interviewed
about Iraq. He always made more sense than any other politician. The one thing he recognized was that it was almost impossible to get the Kurds, Sunnis and Shiites to work together.

3. mine was when he brought down Rudy Guiliani
with one sentence in a debate. "A noun, a verb, and 9/11"

5. I think Joe is the perfect balance of experience and humanity.
He knows his way around DC, but he goes home to his family every night. He's not afraid to show his emotions. He is just so real.

6. Biden not fit for VP
while Biden may project some knowledge during news snippets, he has no depth on most issues.
I hope that nothing happens to Obama, because Biden is totally incompetent.

8. Alrighty then. He has only been there like 30 plus years. Depth is one thing he is not lacking.
He has been prescient on Pakistan for one thing.

12. Biden is totally incompetent?
In evaluating Biden, news snippets are not the only consideration. As vice president he has an important role in advising the president. Obama always said during the campaign that he chose Biden, because Biden would tell him what he really thought on any issue. Obama wanted a seasoned politician who could tell him if he thought that he was not doing the right thing.

Biden does a lot behind the scenes with Obama that we don't see. Since I have a positive view of Obama, I would also say that I think Biden is doing a good job as Obama's critical ear.

9. I fell in love with Joe as a politician in 2004 - he was yelling at a bunch of reporters
about how the swifties were a bunch of liars. (on c-span)

I stood up in my living room and cheered him on.
I've been following him ever since.

15. Joe rocks
His honesty sometimes gets him into trouble, but he's a fantastic VP. And he brought the Dems one step closer to 60 in the Senate with his active "courting" of Specter. I don't love Specter, but it's at least on the surface more horrible news for the GOP. So keep up the good work, Joe! Life under the microscope 24/7 is tough, but don't let 'em bring you down!
