9. I am so glad we are on friendly terms with France again.

That was just one of the many embarrassments of the last 8 years. Not a big one compared to other horrors we lived thru, but a small piece of our world personna is moving back into place.

We AREN'T the country led by a maniac anymore and civilized people will be seen with our president.

16. I remember the pics from the first visit.

Carla looked very reserved and did not smile much, IIRC. This time Carla is smiling widely at our First Lady and the two women are holding hands.

I think that Michelle is such a nice person, so genuine, and these pictures show how likeable she is!
